This year Tuhourangi is holding a special Anzac event to mark the 100th anniversary of WW1 (1914–1918).

Come and join us this weekend as we remember our tūpuna and connect with our whenua in this outdoor whānau activity.

Sunday, April 19, 2015, 9.00am – 12.00pm
Compulsory bike safety checks – 7.30am to 8.30am

LOCATION:  Lake Tikitapu, ROTORUA

RACES:
3.6 Run/Walk v10km Bike Ride v1.8km Run/Walk         

Entry Fee: $10 per person
Whānau 13 years and older can enter individually or as a team (see attached entry form)
BBQ for all entrants @ 12pm

NOTE:
The Anzac poppy is the universal symbol of remembrance and hope. The sale of every poppy helps to support the Armed Forces community, past and present, and their families.  It was a symbol of remembrance 100 years ago and still is today, but with renewed hope for a brighter, peaceful future.
