The proposed protest on the 28th October 2024 to Government House in Auckland, is NOT ENDORSED by Te Arawa, by Tūhourangi nor by the Rotokakahi Board of Control.

Having held our Hui-a-Iwi we are following the actions set out by our people to resolve this kaupapa in the best way to protect our roto, our whenua and our people.

This action, of a protest, was not discussed nor endorsed by our people. We have reached out to the individual organising this protest to ask them to consider the safety and wishes of our people.
