Te Arawa Fisheries Nominations
Kia ora koutou,
We have received the nominations for our Trust election.
A physical election will be required for the seats that have received more than one nomination. These are Ngāti Pikiao, Ngāti Rangiteaorere and Ngāti Whakaue.
Voting documents will be sent out to all adult registered members of Ngāti Pikiao, Ngāti Rangiteaorere and Ngāti Whakaue. Voting can be done online or by post and closes at 5pm on 16 September, 2022.
Nominations for the remaining seven seats did not exceed the number of vacancies, meaning these candidates have been automatically elected to the Trust.

Thank you to all of our whānau who put themselves forward for nomination, we are encouraged by the engagement and aspiration to serve.
A special mihi to Manutai Schuster who has served on the TTA board for a number of years, and who graciously returned to help us navigate a difficult 2021 year. She has always brought valuable insights and contribution to the many kaupapa she touched.
Nominations wanted for kai vouchers
As we head into the festive season it can often be a difficult time for whānau. We recognise this time is going to be even more challenging given the year that we’ve had.
So, we would like to ask for your help so we can support some of our whānau through this time. We're asking for your nomination of Tūhourangi whanau members who you know would appreciate a small kai voucher to help.
Please email your name, name of person/whānau you're nominating, the number of people in their household and their contact details by Friday, 11 December.

We hope that next year we might be able to provide this support a kanohi with a new initiative ‘rua wiki’ to have regular kai tahi with you all in 2021.

The Tūhourangi Tribal Authority will be holding an election by ballot on 7 March 2020.

NOMINATIONS CLOSE 11 February 2020 at 4.30pm
An invitation to submit a brief profile outlining their commitment to Tūhourangi Development of no more than 250 words, to be posted on the Tūhourangi Tribal Authority website, displayed at the election meeting and mailed to registered beneficiaries upon request.
The Nominee, Nominator and Seconder must be a verified registered TTA beneficiary prior to receipt of nomination form.
THOSE WISHING TO VOTE MUST BE REGISTERED ON THE TTA BENEFICIARY REGISTER.
THE BENEFICIARY REGISTRATIONS WILL CLOSE 4.30PM ON 25 February 2020.
