He wānanga taiao ki Tarawera. More information to come, but here is an overview.

We will hold open wānanga to show whānau how we set nets, rama kōura and undertake analysis over the weekend for Friday night 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th although these nights are not favourable through māramataka but will be interesting to note data on nights of poor koura, tuna and fishing.

We will undertake monitoring on Wednesday June 14th and Thursday 15th 2023 (Ōtāne & Ōrongomauri) days/nights as they best align with mārama for good fishing, eeling and koura. Anyone is welcome to come join.

We will also look to share knowledge on Mārama Taka, Stories of Tarawera, Photos and Histories.
